Square Kufic App lets you design Square Kufic calligraphy in your browser. You can use all of it without an account. This page explains what is stored and why.
Without an account
Your drawing and settings are saved only in your own browser’s local storage. They never leave your device unless you export them or sign in and save a project.
With an account
If you create an account, we store:
- your email address and the name you give (optional);
- your password, stored only as a salted one-way hash, never in readable form;
- the projects you choose to save, with a small preview image;
- a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
Sign in with Google
If you continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and a Google account ID with us. We use them only to create and sign in to your Square Kufic App account. We don’t receive your Google password, contacts, files or anything else, and we don’t post anything to your Google account.
Emails
We email you only to confirm your address or to reset your password, when you ask. These are sent through Resend. We never send marketing emails.
Who handles the data
The app and its database run on Cloudflare. Account emails are delivered by Resend. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies.
Deleting your data
You can delete any saved project, or your whole account, from My projects in the app. Deleting your account removes your email, name, password hash, sign-in sessions and every saved project straight away. Work kept in your browser stays there until you clear it.
